Birya United Agencies Ltd is a private company limited strategically located in Mbarara City Southwestern Uganda; approximately 268Km from the capital Kampala. The company started in 2003 and is engaged in agricultural value chains for mainly cereals and pulses with experience in agribusiness; and other business lines such as agricultural inputs, hospitality, and construction. The company works with a network of 2,700 smallholder farmers and individual traders in the districts of Mbarara, Isingiro, Rwampara, Kiruhura, Ibanda, Kamwenge, Ntungamo, Rukiga, Kabale, and Lyantonde. Birya United Agencies Ltd employs over 130 people both directly and indirectly and has built a clientele portfolio that includes but not limited to Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister, Office of the President, and Uganda Police Force.
